Highmark On-Campus Interviews:  IT Analyst Positions

Highmark will be hiring 20 graduating students for full time positions and they are only focusing on a few schools in the state - Penn State Harrisburg is one of them.

This position is part of Highmark’s 2011 ISG College Recruiting Program and is intended for recent college graduates.  A key part of this program is the ISG Rotational Program.  This employee development program takes the participants through a range of assignments that provide the scope, challenge and experience that builds the necessary skills to exceed at Highmark.  Through this rotational program, participants are exposed to a variety of exciting information technology assignments over the course of three years. Targeted training focuses on increasing business acumen, career and personal development, goal setting, and goal achievement. Some of the core assignment areas include applications analysis, project management, software configuration management, architecture, and systems integration and validation.

Required Qualifications

Students eligible for this program have recently (December 2010 - Summer 2011) earned a bachelor degree (or higher), and have majored or minored in Computer Science or Information Technology (IT).


Overall GPA of 3.5 is required.  The incumbent must be legally authorized to work for any United States employer.

Preferred Qualifications

GPA of 3.5 in major is preferred.  Additional relevant knowledge and/or skills and/or work experience:
-          Extracurricular involvement in school, church, community or workplace organizations or activities.
-          Completion of prior internship(s)
-          Integrity
-          Leadership potential
-          Professionalism
-          Commitment to continuous learning
